Decathlon is a popular sporting goods retailer. It has over 2,000+ stores in 56 countries and regions, making it one of the largest sporting goods manufacturers in the world.
Decathlon approached us with the objective of increasing brand visibility, boosting app installations, and enhancing engagement. The major challenges that were ahead of us were identifying the target audience and developing effective strategies accordingly. The lower number of In-App activities and lack of an effective app tracking system also contributed to the challenges.
To overcome these challenges and achieve these objectives, we began by leveraging a media mix of Google Ads, social media, DV360, and affiliates, while developing engaging sports content for our audiences. We also integrated Appsflyer into the dashboard for overall monitoring and executed in-app promotions. We also identified the best influencers to connect with our audiences, thus promoting engagement.
This all-round approach helped increase the app installations by 73% and boosted engagement by 85%. There was a significant increase in audience reach across the country, thus strengthening our online presence and brand awareness.
